We process the photograph you upload, the animation style you choose, technical order identifiers and the email address supplied through Stripe so we can create and deliver your video.
Your source photo is stored in private cloud storage and is sent to our video-generation provider only to create the animation you ordered. We do not sell your photograph or contact details and we do not use your private upload as advertising material without separate permission.
An unpaid uploaded photograph is removed after about 24 hours. After a successful video is generated, the source photograph is removed from our storage where technically possible. The finished video is kept in private storage for 1 year after it is made, so you can watch or download it again any time from My Movies; after 1 year it is removed automatically.
Service-side order metadata for a finished order is kept for 1 year (it powers My Movies, delivery and support); for failed or refunded orders it is kept for about 30 days. Stripe separately retains payment and transaction records according to its own legal and compliance requirements.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Memory2Movie does not receive your full payment-card number.
We use Resend to send your finished-video link and essential order messages. We do not add you to a marketing mailing list merely because you buy a video.
We use private cloud storage, Stripe for payment, an AI video-generation provider to create the animation, and Resend for transactional email. Information is shared with those providers only as needed to deliver the order.
You can ask us to delete an order or stored media earlier by emailing support@memory2movie.com, subject to any information that must be retained for payment, fraud-prevention or legal purposes.
Two optional permissions may be offered at checkout, never pre-selected and never required to purchase. If you tick the email option we may send you Memory2Movie ideas and offers, and every such email includes an unsubscribe link. If you tick the video option we may use your finished video (never your uploaded photograph) in Memory2Movie marketing; you can withdraw that permission for future use at any time by emailing us. Marketing emails always include a one-click unsubscribe link, and opting out is permanent unless you opt in again. A minimal order record (order details and your choices, never photos or videos) is kept for up to 24 months for order history, support and accounting. Your finished video stays available in My Movies for 1 year. My Movies uses no password: we set one essential, secure sign-in cookie on your device (valid 1 year) and can email you a one-tap sign-in link; you can sign out at any time. If you use the share feature, the small watermarked share copy and its share page stay live for up to 12 months so links you post don't stop working; ask us any time and we'll remove them sooner.
